In 2025, an Intergovernmental Science-Policy Panel on Chemicals, Waste and Pollution (Science-Policy Panel or SPP) was created to address the global crisis from chemical pollution and hazardous waste by enhancing knowledge, identifying policy options, and catalyzing action grounded in scientific evidence.
IPEN contributed to its development from the inception of the deliberations to create the panel and continues to participate in SPP meetings. Below are materials from previous sessions of the SPP.
